As a kid, MJ worried about his height. To help him grow tall, his mom sprinkled salt in his sneakers. These Jordans pay tribute to Deloris' loving support with salt-inspired details like the salt wash effect we applied to the upper's canvas panels. Laces inspired by a measuring tape and a special embroidered message on the heel finish the look by encouraging kids to think big.

Real and synthetic leather works with sturdy canvas to add durability and structure to the upper.
Rubber in the outsole helps give kids durable traction.
